Mother Inez Shelton was born January 6, 1920 in Midland GA. The 2nd Eldest of 6, to the late Annie and James Lundy.
In the 1940’s Mother Shelton met and was United in Holy Matrimony to the late Frank M. Shelton. Soon after they relocated to Boston MA. And from this union 3 daughters were born. Eileen, Theresa and Ina Lee.
Mother Shelton was baptized, ordained and served the Lord with her whole heart. Mother was faithful in many capacities in her walk with the Lord, as Sunday and Bible school teacher, missionary, President of the Usher Board, Evangelist and Elder. Her last capacity was as Mother of New Fellowship Christian Ministries, under the Leadership of Pastor John A. Bridges.
An entrepreneur, Mother Shelton ran a family restaurant alongside her husband and open her own early childhood learning center in her home. Mother had a deep love for Children and education. Her love for children made her open her home to many foster children, and her love for education led her to become an educator with The Boston Public School System.
Mother Shelton was a skilled seamstress and would often help out at her brothers cleaners in Roxbury Mass. She would always gift family with beautiful dresses and gowns. And if you caught her “eye” she would surprise you with a hand made crotched Afgan, scarf or even a cable knit sweater.
Mother Shelton loved her family. She was extremely blessed to see 4 generations of her rich legacy.
Mother Shelton was preceded in death by 5 siblings. Annie Mae Scott, James Oliver, Mary L. Sanders, Liler Vann and Margaret Brown.
She leaves to forever cherish her memories, 3 daughters and 2 son in laws; Eileen (Woodrow) of Boston, Theresa (Everett) of Boston and Ina lee of TX.
3 Grandchildren Danielle Ayanna, Autumn Rae and Reginald Lavon.
6 Great Grand Children Christopher James (whom preceded her in death), Cheyenne Janae, Cheyla DeJanae, Ayanna Daneya, Amani Alexis and Andrew Philip.
3 Great Great Grandchildren Tèo Karter, Kalani Aubrielle and Cairo Elijah.

Due to the Current Covid-19 restrictions only 10 guests are allowed in the funeral home at a time for viewing. Only 10 Family members are allowed to stay for funeral services.
All Visitors must wear a Mask in the funeral home and on the funeral home property.
All visitors will then follow Social Distancing.
All visitors will view and then exit the Funeral Home.
All visitors will be able to greet family members from a safe distance but not able to touch.
