Keta spent her early years in Halifax, Nova Scotia at her grandmother’s side. Later in life she moved to Boston where she earned her high school degree from Lincoln-Sudbury High School. While working full time for Hertz-Rent-A-Car, she managed to earn an Associate’s Degree from Fisher Junior College, and a subsequent Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Suffolk University, where she met and married the love of her life Daniel Bartlett.
Keta worked in the legal and banking industry for most of her adult life, working for the law firms of Baron & Stadfeld and Mintz, Levin, which she followed with a career as a commercial loan officer at Wells Fargo and Citizens Bank. A lifelong learner, Keta never stopped pursuing knowledge receiving numerous subsequent degrees and certificates.
Keta’s tremendous work ethic was always devoted to providing for her family. She raised her children Keone and Ashley in Sandwich doing her best to always provide them with the happiest of holidays as well as frequent trips at home and abroad. Keta loved going with her family to Disneyworld, on cruises around the Caribbean and also traveling to Europe, but there was nothing more fulfilling to her than having her family around her on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
