Obituary

Doris Ann Adger was born on June 13, 1949 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Helen Harris and General Lee Carr (Deceased) along with her twin sister Dois Taylor who she leaves behind, along with her sisters Carolyn Alson, Helen Adger (Boston) and Shirley Tillman-Williams (California).

She is survived by her daughter Shirley Renay Adger-Imbergamo. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Henrietta Howard, her Mother Helen Harris, her brother W.A. Adger and her eldest daughter, Jacqueline Denise Adger.

Doris loved to read and listen to music as well as watch all current events and special current news on television. Her favorite magazine was Bridal Magazine. She loved being with family and food.

Doris worked in homecare, childcare and the V.A. Hospital in Boston where she retired on September 30, 2012.
She will be missed by a host of nieces and nephews that loved her dearly and cherish every moment with her. Her great-niece Denique Diane West will forever carry on her name.
