Gwendolyn “Gwen” Ann Cole, 62 years old of Boston, departed this life and entered eternal rest with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 23rd, 2020.

Born on June 17th, 1957 in Birmingham, Alabama, Gwen was the second child and daughter from the late Maxie Lee Cole and Willie Cole. At an early age, Gwen, along with her mother, Maxie Lee and the rest of her siblings, left the south for good and moved to Boston, MA. She spent her formative and adult years in the city of Boston, which she called home for majority of her life.
Gwen was the beloved mother of 2 sons, Armondo Cole of Boston, MA and Sheron Mahase of Brockton, MA. Her children were the gems to her eyes, who she truly adored and loved unconditionally. Not only is she survived by her two sons, she also leaves to mourn, 3 precious grandchildren: Inaia Lesser, Shemar Mahase and Shenia Mahase, her siblings, Brenda Frazier, Dennis “Jarib” Cole, Anita Robinson (Kevin) Lontrel Cole (Tonya) and Spencer Cole (Jennifer). She also leaves a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.
Gwen is preceded in death by her parents: Maxie Lee Cole and Willie Cole, grandparents: Beatrice Myers and John Myers and nephew, Chudney Frazier.
Funeral services for Gwen will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6th, 2020, at Riley-Antoine Funeral Home located at 171 Humboldt Avenue in Dorchester, MA. Bishop William E. Dickerson and Pastor Emanuel Hutcherson both of Greater Love Tabernacle Church will be officiating. Burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Hyde Park, MA following the service.
