Marvin Paul Singleton and Brenda Anne Boyd. He was born August 08,1981 in
Boston, Massachusetts. Marques was raised in Boston and later resided in
Cambridge, MA where he started elementary, middle school, and high school. Later,
then graduated April 2017 from Le cordon Bleu receiving his Associates Degree Applied
science and culinary arts. Not long after graduation he was diagnosed with Congestive
Marques was very determined to do more work, he decided he wanted to go back to
college to pursue his education at Cambridge College for the love he had for people and
helping them through there problems in life with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology/
human services. Marques had just landed a position at the Hope House INC. in Boston
Substance Abuse Counselor to help and guide those who could not do for themselves.
That was the type of person and heart he always had.
Marques was the most devoted husband, father, grandson, nephew and brother and
son. He will be joining his late mother-in-law Deborah Davis, and late brother-in-law
Jerome Davis, Late grandmother and Grandfather Jessie Mae Singleton, Roosevelt
Singleton and Uncle Leroi Singleton who he was named after. Also, the lates grandfather
Mr. Boyd, Uncle Nelson Boyd, Uncle Grant Boyd.
Marques Singleton is the devoted husband of Lakeisha Singleton of, Malden, MA,
devoted father to Marques JR and Ja’shaylah Singleton. Marques will be leaving behind
Brother-in-law Taheen Davis of Revere, Aunt Cherose Singleton of Boston, Uncle Larry
Singleton of Boston, Aunt Delores Griffin of Florida, Grandmother Viola Boyd of Boston,
Aunt Vinee Boyd of Boston, Uncle Milton Boyd of Boston, Sister Akilah Banks of
Cambridge, Sister Kevanna Boyd of Cambridge, Brother Marvin ”Junior” Boyd of
Cambridge, and multiple beloved nieces and nephews and cousins.
