Dionne Lacretia Kelow was born June 30, 1968 to Betty Kelow and Phillip Lucas. She was preceded in death by her father.
Dionne was the pulse of any room she entered. She was outspoken and outgoing no matter what obstacles life threw her way. Dionne would always be there when you called no matter the time or day.
Dionne possessed a passion for drawing and writing poetry. Dionne developed her own relationship with Christ at an early age. However, Dionne rededicated herself and her life to Christ by becoming a baptized member of New Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
Dionne was a mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Dionne lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute of it. Dionne was proceeded in death by her son Darkeem Johnson Kelow and her sister Cheryl McCollum. Dionne was called home August 24, 2019.
She is survived by her son Darren A. Kelow and daughter Darkia Anderson both of Boston, her mother Betty Kelow (Boston, MA), two sisters Deneise Kelow and Toccara Kelow (Boston, MA), a uncle Jake Cliffton Kelow, Jr. (Mary) of Bellwood, IL, one granddaughter Akile Kelow (Boston, MA) a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
