Lillian Marie Wilson (Mikie) was the youngest of three girls born to the late Edward and Rosella (Wall) Callaway on June 11, 1924 in Boston Massachusetts.

Marie graduated from Roxbury Memorial High School and went on to become a Laboratory Technician Phlebotomist at Boston City Hospital from where she retired in 1993.
Marie was an independent, charismatic, fun loving, energetic women and love dance, music, and poetry, a member of the Goldenaires, Swingers, Harriet Tubman line Dancers and Senior Rappers to name a few.
She was a long time member of the Charles Street A. M. E .Church joining in 1943 and belonged to the Gladys Holmes Unit of the Sarah Gorham Women’s Missionary Society Marie departed this world quietly in her sleep on Sunday March 31, 2019. “..and the Angels lifted Marie and put her upon their wings..”
Marie lived a vibrant, rich life and will sorely be missed by all.
She leaves her Daughter Sheila Gray-Beal, Grandson Stephen Jackson and Great Granddaughter Shakyah Jackson-Leary and a host of loving relatives and friends. “A part of us went with you the day God called you home.”
Marie will join in Heaven her Parents Edward and Rosella Calaway, her companion on more than 50 years Willie Bailey Jr. , loving sisters Geraldine Sanchez and Rosella Chapman, devoted daughter DiAnne Gray- Pearson, Son Stephen Gray and Granddaughter Coliscia Elwin

There will be a Memorial Service on Monday April 15, 2019 at 11:00am at Charles Street A.M.E Church 551 Warren Street, Dorchester, MA 02121
