Thomas Moore Jr.
Thomas Moore, Jr. was born in Silverhill, Alabama on July 19, 1938 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Moore, Sr.. Thomas attended Ransom High School In Cantonment, FL. He married Margaret Odom of Cantonment, FL. To this union was born two sons, Gregory Moore (deceased) and Thomas Moore, III., later he enlisted in the United States Military during his service in the army he was stationed in Ulm Germany. Upon his release, he joined the hospitality and food service industry.
After many years in the industry he became sole owner of Moore's Catering Services. Thomas then married the late Ruth Moore. To this union was born two children, Phaedra and Thomas Jamaal Moore and one step-daughter Latonja Johnson (deceased).
Besides his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by two brothers, Joel Moore (Virginia) and Eddie Gaston (Loretta) and one sister Mary Wright (Willie James).
Thomas Moore Jr. leaves to mourn two sons Thomas Moore, III (Jacina) and Thomas Jamaal Moore; one daughter,Phaedra Moore(Zoey). Four sisters, Eula Kirkland, Boston, Flora Clark, Cantonment, Annie Kendall, Brockton and Sandra Borders (Stoughton), two brothers, Curtis Kendall, Jr. (Carolyn), (Texas), and Eddie Lee McBride of Boston,MA
He is survived by nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend, Virginia M.
There will be a Viewing on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 09:00 to 9:30am followed by Funeral Service at 9:30 am at Brockton- VA Hospital Interfaith Chapel Building #24, 940 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
