Cynthia Jenkins was born in Davisboro GA on May 27 1953. She was the daughter of the late Maudine Jenkins and Charlie Ray Jenkins.
Cynthia was 1 of 6 children who she adored and loved dearly She leaves to mourn her passing Charlie Ray Jenkins Jr., Willie Albert Jenkins and Annie Ruth Jenkins. She is predeceased by siblings Sheila and Betty Ruth Taylor.
In her early teens Cynthia ventured to Boston MA where she started her family. As she tried to settled in Boston she met the love of her life her late husband Jamie Armstrong and from their union she has raised 8 children.
She was the mother of 5 handsome boys who she was proud of. Thomas Ray Jenkins her eldest whom she will be laid to rest with. She is survived by James Anthony Jenkins, Troy Levon Jenkins, Damion Demar Jenkins and Michael Deon Jenkins. Then there are her beautiful three girls who she always prayed for Crystal Layette Jenkins, Evenna Shanae Jenkins and Shawna Lee Jenkins. Cynthia also has 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grand and a host of nieces and nephews and friends that she will be lovingly and remembered by dearly.
Cynthia held several jobs in her life: she loved to work. When she was no longer able to work she focused on being a dedicated mother and wife. She was a very loving, outspoken and understanding woman who would move mountains if she could.
There will be a Viewing on Friday, July 27 from 10:00 to 11:00am followed by Funeral Service at 11:00am at Riley-Antoine Funeral Home, 171 Humboldt Ave., Dorchester, MA 02121.
