Immacula Jean passed away after a yearlong battle with health complications on Sunday, May 20, 2018.
Immacula was born on July 13, 1940 in Pilate, Haiti. She is the first of five children born to the late Anestil Joseph and Ocsius Jean.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jacques Brutus and her grandson Darner Alteon. She is the Beloved mother of Romel Brutus, Darline (Frantz) B. Fecu, Darlin Brutus and Vital (Carine) Brutus; beloved grandmother of Luckner Jr, Knerline, Luckas, Angelique, Youbenson, Amandri, Erick and Darlin Jr.
She is the sister of 3 equally amazing women, Antoinette (Edzer) Noel, Antoinise Jean, Mirlene (Joseph) Jean and Janine Jean. She also leaves behind 8 strong brothers; Antoine, Jeffrad Jean, Tercius, Vincent, Kenel, Facius, Michel and Jonas.
She will be remembered as a strong, responsible and committed woman with a love for her community in Haiti and for her sewing lessons to young girls from the country side. She pursued her love for art during her life journey in the US.
Ma held different jobs and worked hard to help provide for her family. She will be remembered mostly for how she envisioned her family sustainability in life.
Immacula Jean will be deeply missed and her strength will not be soon forgotten.
There will be a Wake on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00pm at Pentecostal Church Of The Last Hour, 37 Everett Street, Hyde Park, MA 02136 where a Viewing will be held on Saturday, June 2nd from 9:00 to 10:00am followed by Funeral Service at 10:00 O'clock.
Interment: Oak Lawn Cemetery, Roslindale, MA
