Raymond Charles Grinion, Sr. was born on November 17, 1984 to Errol Augustine and Jennifer
Grinion in Stoughton, MA. Raymond was called to heaven on May 12, 2018.
Raymond was raised in Brockton, MA and went to the Brockton Public Schools. He received his
GED and his certificate as a General Opticianry Assistant in 2001, while living in Pennsylvania,
PA. He later moved to Boston, followed by Walpole. He traveled around alot, but his home was
always in Walpole, MA, with Suzanne and Ed James, (his self-adopted parents). He had a great
love for Brockton, the city that he grew up in as a child, his hometown.
Raymond worked as an Opticianry Assistant and later as a warehouse associate and Operations
Manager. He loved working in the warehouse, because it was a less restrictive work setting and
it allowed him to work, yet, be free. Raymond was a caring, compassionate and free spirited individual. He would help out anyone who crossed his path, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand; literally, he would give you the shirt off his back, if you needed it. He loved to be out and about, around family and friends.
He was the life of the party, and he loved meeting new people. To know Raymond was to love him.
Raymond's passion was writing and making his own music, but he loved listening to music, as
well. Raymond found solice in music. In addition to music, Raymond loved watching movies,
especially of people he idolized, crime scenes, documentaries and comedies. He, also, loved to
read a good novel from time to time. Raymond loved being a father to his children, a big brother and a role model to other children. He will be greatly missed by all.
He leaves to mourn his parents, Errol Augustine and Jennifer Grinion; his maternal grandmother,
Lurline Gloria Onessimo; his paternal grandmother, Ann Bootman; His adopted parents, Ed and
Suzanne James; his brothers, Siyolo Bennett, Nichlos Grinion, and Rambus Onessimo; his sisters,
Coreena Gosine, Raane Onessimo, Camille Comejo, and Chaia Weaver; his children, Raymond
Jr., Jonathan, Alexandria, Victoria, Aaliyah, Demetrius, and Zyandra. He, also, leaves to mourn a
host of aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends.
