Alonzo "Lonnie" White
Alonzo White, affectionately known to his family and friends as "Lonnie" was born October 19, 1971 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Carol White of Boston, Massachusetts and Alonzo Mays of Augusta, Georgia.
Lonnie attended Boston Public Schools and later received his GED. He held several jobs as a cook, a dishwasher, a facility maintenance worker, and a cleaner. His last job was at U-Haul,a job he truly loved. Despite his failing health he still managed to crack jokes and holler "where's my chicken and lemons?". Lonnie enjoyed playing cards, watching sports, and going to the casino-but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
On March 26, 2018, Lonnie's time here with us on earth expired, although we will never understand why he had to go and the manner in which he had to go, we are comforted in knowing that he is safe in God's hands. He will be greeted at havens gates by his son Trey Alonzo White. Alonzo was also preceded in death by his parents.
Lonnie leaves to cherish his most precious memories; his 4 sisters, Neeko Swinson, Lisa White, Angela White-Pina, and Pamela White; his brothers, Arkie Swinson and Anthony Thompson all of Boston, Massachusetts. He will forever be remembered by his children; Shawntae White, Alonzo White, Jr., Antoine White, and Rickey Bradley White; as well as a hot of other family and friends and close relatives.
