Mark Anthony Wilson was born to Arvana Harris and Ardane Banks on August 11, 1967 in Boston, MA. A curious child always on a quest for knowledge developed a deep seeded love of music. Mark attended Madison Park Technical Vocational High School in Roxbury, MA where he would encounter other burgeoning artist such as members of the famed group “New Edition” and drummer Vinnie Sabatino, with whom he helped to pen a school song “MP” in homage to their alma mater. It was Vinnie with whom Mark would later audition with for Boston hip-hop group, “Marky Mark and The Funky Bunch.” Following Graduation in 1986 Mark would go on to pursue his musical goals having been granted the opportunity to travel to California to work with brother older Ellis Hall and from there he would travel to perform in and around Hong Kong. In recent years, you would find Mark creating music by singing and playing on his melodica. He also found joy in giving and watching others cheerfully receive his gift of special made colorful roses.
Through the challenges of life Mark continued to exude a sparkling personality. His laughter was infectious as was his zest for life. But, it was Mark the gentleman and his bright smile that caught the attention of the love of his life, his wife Carlene he called “BooBee" with whom he married on Valentine’s Day siting its significance.
