Obituary for Joseph Arneaud

Joseph David Arneaud son of the late Leo B. Arneaud and Ecidra Arneaud was born August 06, 1950 in Trinidad & Tobago.

In 1971 Joseph migrated to the United States. In 1973 he enrolled in the Navy and was honorably discharged in 1979. In 2017 Joseph was diagnosed with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), and was admitted to the Brockton V.A. in July 2017, “Joe-Joe” died on March 24, 2018.

Joseph was an avid sports fan, he also loved to fish and spent a lot of weekends on the Cape. His favorite hangout spot was Unity Sports and Cultural Club. He enjoyed playing dominoes, card games - all folds, helping at the bar and socializing with friends and club members.

Joseph was one of twelve children, he is survived by his wife Moy of twenty-nine years and four sons: Jason, Gerald, Michael, and Deion; daughter-in-law Claire, grand-daughters Isaro and Naila, brothers/sisters-in-law. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces/nephews, cousins and friends. He will be greatly missed.

A Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00am followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 O’clock at St. Katharine Drexel Parish, 517 Blue Hill Avenue, Dorchester (Grove Hall).

Interment with Military Honors on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11:15am, Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA
