Kevin Dwayne Ramsey-Scott Jr., was born on July 29, 1991 to Kevin Dwayne Ramsey Sr. and Sonya P. Rivers of Dorchester, MA. Kevin was raised with two mothers; the late Vera Scott raised Kevin at an early age and helped to mold him into the man that he had become. We all know that it takes a village to raise a family and Vera and her family was part of that village.
Kevin attended the Sarah Greenwood Middle School and went on to Hyde Park High School but then transferred to Codman Academy. Kevin was employed at a sneaker store called the Vault in Lynn, MA and he also worked at Sky Zone.
Kevin loved music and recording. He wrote a song for his mother. One of his songs has received airplay on the radio. Red and Black were his favorite colors. Kevin enjoyed sneakers, food and family gatherings. When he needed advice of help he went to his father Kevin Sr., thus forming an unbreakable bond between a father and son. A bond that Kevin Jr., also passed onto his twin boys. Azyren and Kaleel.
Kevin Jr., had a tight bond with all of his siblings. Kevin loved being a dad and family mattered to him. Kevin was a kind soul and had a heart of gold. Kevin was known by many as midnight, new general breed, little Kevin, middy and midnight the don.
The legacy (his music) that he began for his son’s it is up to us as a the village to keep building on that legacy and keep Kevin’s memory alive. Kevin was a great, father, son, brother, nephew, grandson, uncle, colleague and loyal friend.
Kevin leaves to mourn his parents, Kevin Ramsey Sr., Sonya Rivers and the late Vera Scott, his grandparents, Brenda Ramsey, Clementine Scott, Thomas Scott and Leonard Sturgis, his twin sons, Azyren and Jaleel, his son’s mother Antwanette, his siblings, Nathina, Bernard, Cherrelle, Karen, Tevin, Shawn, Tyron, Malik, Michaela, Kenniston, Kenita, Antonie, Nia DeShawn, Cameron, Jasmine, his niece’s Zyariah and Kiara, nephew Jeremiah and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to cherish his life and to keep his memory alive.
