Ronald Edward McCoy was born in Boston on July 14 1961, the son of George Burnett and the late Dorothy McCoy. He was raised by his grandmother the late Flora Lawson.
Ronnie graduated from Boston High School and furthered his education as an auto mechanic. He then joined the Marine Corps and received an honorable discharge. Ronald’s passion was working as an auto mechanic where you often found him working on a car. He was also an excellent handyman and could fix anything. He was very loved and known by many people.
Ronald received his wings on April 6th 2017. He leaves his loving wife Deborah Ann McCoy, 3 children Daniella M McCoy, Ronald E McCoy Jr, Ty-Ronn J McCoy, 14 grandchildren, 4 stepchildren Therrin, Monique, Sebastian and Michael. He also is survived by his loving Aunt Mattie Evans, 4 sisters Theressa, Bernetta, Christine and Michelle, 1 cousin Dorothy Broadus, 3 stepbrothers James, Phil, and Leo, 3 stepsisters Jackie, Janet and Renae, 1 sister in law, and 2 brother in laws.
Ronnie was a beloved uncle and leaves to cherish his memories to his niece, nephews and cousins and many more other extended family members and friends.
A Viewing will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00am followed by Funeral Service at 11:00 O'clock at Holy Tabernacle Church 70 Washington Street, Dorchester, MA 02121
Interment: Oak Lawn Cemetery, Roslindale, MA
