Condolence: My sincere condolences to the Jones family. I know "Uncle Norman" through his niece, Sophia, to whom he was a wonderful uncle, protector, and role model. May you rest in peace, Mr. Jones.

Condolence From: Asalean Haynes
Condolence: I met Norman back during the Boston Edison days, and on occasions I would run into him in the Prudential building lobby after work, sometimes Norman and I would walk together down Boylston Street to his Modeling job at Louis Boston, an upscale men store where politicians and well-dressed men shopped, Norman would dash into Louis, while I went off to spending money elsewhere.
While Norman having a modeling job at a store like Louis Boston at that time was paramount, some days he would have an early shoot which required him to arrive already dressed and he would then walk down Boylston Street to his photo shoot with a proud presidential stride. On days we walked together to his modeling job, our conversations were mostly general in nature, as I am reminded of the day he told me about his Son. I’m not sure if his son was born prior to him working at Boston Edison, however, I do know that when he spoke of him, he was one proud and happy father. Although, I never met his son, I do know that he was loved very much by his father.
Much time had passed and I had not seen Norman for many years, so when the news came out years later that Norman had ran into a hard stop in his life, I prayed along with many of you that God restore his health and for many more years. Our prayers weren't answered, but it’s not our will, but the will of Almighty God that we live by. While God blessed Norman more years of life, it was not the life that the prideful Norman I know would want to live.
I would like to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers while he was going through his bend in the road, and I cannot express how proud you all make me feel for all your support when Norman needed you the most, and I wish many blessings upon all of you.
This last hard stop in life for Norman proved that he had lost his will to live, so when God gently touched him on his shoulder, he looked back, and I can just see Norman with his sideways grin, to say "WAIT God I have to say good bye?". So for each of you I’m sure he paid you a last visit, a soft touch, a manly hug, and to his lovely supported wife Desiree a gentle kiss. Norman then turned around and there stood his loving Mother with open arms, and I can only image Norman in his glorified state running to greet her. I believe Norman is now safely home. So to his family, be happy for Norman can't you see he has overcome, his times not over it's only just begun he's has crossed over, no more pain, suffering, and no more struggling. He will continue to live as long as you remember Him, remember the good times. Be Blessed!!
